2023 Oahu Golf Tournament
On June 26th, Motiv8 Foundation hosted its 7th annual golf tournament at Oahu Country Club presented by First Hawaiian Bank. Golfers enjoyed their tournament (cooler) swag bags with goodies from Jones Sports Co., Scott slippers, Manuheali’i golf polos, exclusive Resid3ncy HNL hats, Titleist “8” golf balls, Seamus golf covers and customized ball markers from Land & Sea Golf. Players enjoyed food and drinks on the course courtesy of Waiākea Water, DK’s Sansei, Roy’s, Love’s, and Island’s Finest Shave Ice.
Each year the Motiv8 Foundation presents the Ardel Deppe Community Football award. This award was created to honor Marcus’s late grandfather as a tribute to the many life lessons he learned from him. In partnership with Riddell, the winners receive a $5000 football equipment credit. This year’s winners are Kapa’a Pop Warner and Pearl City Junior Chargers DBA.
Following an afternoon of golf, guests enjoyed a casino reception with food provided from Oahu Country Club and wine tastings from our past labels in partnership with Sweet Cheeks Winery out of Eugene, OR. We recently released our 4th label with the design highlighting the Mariota’s newest family member, sweet Makaia Kei.
This past year Motiv8 Foundation supported numerous events in Hawaii, Oregon and Atlanta. In partnership with Matt Ryan’s Foundation (ATL) and Shoes That Fit, we provided Nike shoes to students at Carver STEAM Academy in Atlanta. In the week following the tournament we extended the partnership with Shoes That Fit to provide Nike shoes to youth through the After School All Stars Program and Project Hawaii on the Big Island.
